Songs from the Black Meadow -The Book

To celebrate the release of the Album "Songs from the Black Meadow" Exiled Publications are releasing a linked book.

This book collects the lyrics from all of the songs as well as a newly discovered tale from the Black Meadow entitled "A Minstrel Came out of the Meadow".

All profits from the sale of the book will go to Worldwide Cancer Research .

Lovely write up of Wyrd Britannia event at Todmorden

Black Meadow and Folklore Tapes joined forces on Saturday January 25th 2014 at Todmorden Library as part of the Wyrd Britannia festival. It was a lovely event. The place was packed (with some people having to stand at the back), whilst author Chris Lambert weaved his strange tales interspersed with facts about Black Meadow, documentary and music. The mood was spooky, Chris lit by a gel covered desk lamp on the floor, the audience sitting in rapt silence and stillness as he drew them into a world of Horsemen, Fog houses and Faustian pacts.

Stonking Review in STARBURST magazine for "Tales from the Black Meadow"

It's a great day for "Tales from the Black Meadow" the book and the CD have received a fantastic write-up in STARBURST Magazine.

The reviewer Andrew Marshall clearly enjoyed the whole experience fully diving in and picking out his favourite stories.
